Born in the UK, Daniel received his LLB from University College London in 1967. He was called to the Israeli Bar in 1970 and to the English Bar at Gray’s Inn in 1972. In 1977 he was admitted as an English Solicitor and has been a T.E.P Trust and Estates Practitioner since the inception of the STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). Between 1968-71, Daniel served as the Assistant Legal Counsel for the Jewish Agency for Israel in Jerusalem. He was Associate to Gideon Hausner, former Attorney-General between 1971-75, and in 1976-77 served as Assistant to the Economic Minister at the Israeli Embassy in London.
Daniel was a member of the Judicial Commission for the revision of Israel Company Law, is the author of the chapter on Israel in the Encyclopaedia of International Trust Law, as well as numerous chapters and articles in various books, journals and publications.
1978 saw the foundation of Daniel Prete & Partners, Law Office. For over 40 years Daniel has been a leading specialist in international family wealth management, structuring and asset protection, international banking law and procedures, international tax and estate planning and domestic and commercial management for private clients.
Born in Israel, Chofit received her LLB (Cum Laude) from Manchester University, UK in 1997. Called to the Israeli Bar in 1999, she chairs the Israeli Bar’s National Trust Committee and is also a qualified Trusts and Estates Practitioner (T.E.P).
Since 2007, Chofit has been a Partner in Daniel Prete & Partners, Law Office, and serves as co-MD of the firm. Specialising in local and international asset protection for private clients and multinational families, Chofit advises High Net Worth families globally in matters of Trust and Foundation structuring, international tax and estate planning and wealth protection. Chofit is the author and co-author of many articles published in leading law journals on the subject of international taxation and the use of trusts. Adv. Chofit Schapiro is regularily ranked by various international journals as a leading practitioner in the field of international taxation and trusts.
In her capacity as Family Advisor to multi-national global families encompassing two or more generations, Chofit advises MSA’s team on the administration and management of Family Foundations and Trusts in multiple jurisdictions, and coordinates all the legal ramifications of client asset and wealth management. She liaises actively with our in-house Trust Companies in Douglas, Isle of Man and Tortola, BVI, on all aspects of trust formations, acceptance and administration.
Born in Israel, Elrad holds an LLB degree as well as BA in Finance from the Interdisciplinary Centre, Herzliya, Israel. Elrad is a qualified Trusts and Estates Practitioner (T.E.P.), was called to the Israel Bar in 2008 and admitted as a Partner at Daniel Prete & Partners, Law Office in 2010 and advises on all aspects of asset management and wealth preservation.
Elrad is a Law and Finance specialist with a particular expertise in Asset Management and portfolio planning for trusts, foundations, family holding companies and individual private clients. On behalf of our international clients and across multiple jurisdictions, Elrad structures financial products, creates bespoke and in-house Funds and deals with all the licensing and regulatory aspects which arise.
Elrad advises extensively on the administration and distribution of deceased estates having regard, both domestically and internationally, to the tax and compliance consequences for the heirs and any other relevant parties.
